The Teacher and the Work
A Lifetime of Study, Preserved and Continued
Hanshi Bruce Juchnik leads Warrior Scholar Academy. He is the 22nd inheritor of Kosho Ryu Kempo, passed to him directly by James Mitose, and serves as director of Sei Kosho Shorei Kai International.
His study of the art has continued for decades, shaped by direct instruction from Mitose and by teachers including Robert Trias, who personally entrusted him with preserving material from his own line before his passing.
Warrior Scholar Academy exists to carry that same responsibility forward: to preserve, interpret, and share what has been entrusted to Hanshi, and to help practitioners understand the ideas behind the practice rather than simply collecting more of it.
The purpose is not to give you one more system to collect. It is to help you continue studying with greater depth, context, and understanding.
