The Warrior Scholar Academy exists to support the study and understanding of Kosho Ryu through direct instruction and preserved teaching.

The preservation of Kosho Ryu and its traditions is carried forward through my organizations. The Academy serves as the place where students come to learn. It is the environment where lessons are taught, principles are examined, and understanding is developed through continued study.

The Academy functions as an extension of the dojo. Here, students work with kata, application, distance, timing, and strategy through structured lessons and guided instruction. The purpose is not to collect techniques. The purpose is to understand why things work and when they should be applied.

Much of what is taught in Kosho does not survive in books or outlines alone. It must be explained, demonstrated, and revisited over time. The Warrior Scholar Academy allows that process to continue in a way that supports careful study and reflection.

This is not a substitute for in person training. It is not a shortcut to rank or recognition. Kosho Academy is a place to continue the work, to study responsibly, and to preserve what has been passed down by understanding it, not copying it.

This Academy exists for those who are serious about their practice and willing to do the work required to understand the art.
