Advanced Insights to Unique Martial Concepts
This advanced session initially was only shared with my private group of instructors. The twelve classes provide a deep dive into concepts and principles that are either not taught, or are overlooked in many systems today. These principles are guaranteed to elevate your studies.
Delivered each week for 12 weeks, this video series will provide advanced training in Kosho Ryu. Geared toward instructors and students alike.
While these unique concepts and principles are not found in any other style, they can be utilized with many arts.

The octagon is the key to all aspects of martial arts.
An entire course in and of itself! The Octagon gives us total understanding of evasiveness and escaping. The escaping arts are very important, probably the most important of the physical arts. Cause no harm. If there is no harm caused to you or an opponent, this is considered the high art. The Octagon diagram shows us when to move as well as where and how to move.
This training will reinforce and change your whole perception on how you view your studies. The octagon study in Kosho Ryu is vast. When you apply these concepts with the understanding of centering, it will change how you view the application of technique. The octagon holds the keys to all aspects of the martial arts. Throwing, striking and every thing else that you do.

Is kata useless?
Kata is often debated in the martial arts. Both the applicability and value of studying forms. In this classroom discussion, Juchnik, Hanshi outlines his unique and valuable perspective on the importance of kata.

The Sub-arts of Kosho Ryu
The biggest difference between Kosho Ryu and other systems is that Kosho Ryu is preparatory first. The sub-arts and related concepts will give you the understanding proper timing, distancing and more.
